Robert MARSHALL was born in 1843 (or 1842) emigrated to New Zealand in 1866 and married Margaret STEWART. Robert was one of 40 Irish settlers who came to NZ on the ship "Mary Shepherd" to purchase land in North Auckland. He arrived with his cousin William Day LESLIE and Mary Ann LESLIE. I have the details in New Zealand but no idea of his parents or brothers and sisters. Any help appreciated, I've hit a huge brick wall. Thanks

I think his mother was Sarah Leslie born 1820 Dungannon, Tyrone, Northern Ireland and his father George Marshall born 1823 Moneymore, Londonderry, Northern Ireland
this info is from a family tree on Ancestry also a brother James Marshall born 1843 Dungannon, Tyrone, Northern Ireland
