Rosebud Pine Forest

I am looking for anyone who recalls the Pine plantation at the back of Rosebud. It was behind Eastbourne rd and between Jetty and Boneo rds.
I know the family who owned it in the early days was Cairns but do not have any info after that.
Who owned the plantation and when were the pine trees planted?

Also looking for anyone who has memories of the pine forest, adventures, expeditions etc.

HI margaret, I have recently purchased 126 old cap schanck road rosebud and was wondering of this was part of the old plantation and what is the history of the area. My block has been cleared of pines but my neighbours block still has most of the pines intact at 124

also was there a homestead in the area ?
