Emil ‘Moe’ Roslovic, 90
MIDLAND - Emil 'Moe' Roslovic, 90 of Midland passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born June 19, 1924 in Midland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Sarah Mercon Roslovic and had been a resident of Midland all of his life. A 1942 graduate of Lincoln High School, Midland, he was a faithful member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland. Moe had retired from Crucible Steel, Colt Industries in Midland where he had worked in the metallurgical department for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WW II and was a member of the Midland American Legion and the American Yugoslav Club, Midland.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were three sisters, Mildred Beaver, Mary Rajsich, Mitzi Kragulac and a brother, Nick Roslovic.
He is survived by his lifelong friend, Mary Pat Farnan, Midland, a sister, Daisy Sobat, Midland and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 12 noon in the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church by Father Branislav Golic. Interment with full military rites by the Midland American Legion will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
