Russell Archibald Jeannie Gordon of Glasgow Then Paisley

Archiebald Russell , when he marries Jeannie Gordon in 1929, is a widower at the young age of 25. Archie's parents are given on his marriage certificate as Henry and Helen Russell , née Colville, and he also had a sister , name not known .Not yet found any details of his first marriage but we do remember 2 sons of that marriage who sometimes joined the family gatherings at Hogmanay ( ? in Ferguslie Park Avenue) at either the Russell or Gordon ( Thomas and Elizabeth) household. Memory is of "Big James Russell" who was tall with dark hair. Mum, Betty Gordon" remembers the other as being called Archie.
