Samuel Appleton Storrow

I am looking for information about Samuel Appleton Storrow, b 1787 New Brunswick, d 1837 Virginia, Col. in the US army married Elizabeth Hill Farley Carter, and his ancestors.
There was another Samuel Appleton Storrow, a merchant who died 1842. It would be interesting to discover if they were related.
