It is possible that the family came from Somerset. I have found them at Shepton Mallett in 1664.
Rowberrow is a small hamlet near Shipham on the Mendip Hills the nearest biggish place is Axbridge.
The parish church is St Leonard Shipham. I was there recently recording the gravestone monuments, hence your post caught my eye.
