I have hit a dead end trying to find out more about Sara(h) Jane Brown Friddle. I can't find her parents or where she is buried, etc.
On Martha Mae, I can not find anywhere on when, how she came to Texas. I was only 2 when she passed. Also, trying to find her siblings Edward and Mary.

I found a reference to Sara's death: 26 March 1858 but I cannot find a death for this date. from this I assume she died just after James Alfred Friddle was born or the other possiblity is Sara and Henry seperated.I would have thought Sarah would have died in Beat 9, Hopkins, Texas where James Alfred was born.
This looks like James in 1860 but it does not state if his father Henry is married or not.

Could not ind Martha in 1900 census perhaps the family moved to Texas between 1880 - 1900 when there was no census taken.

Sara died after giving birth to James Alfred. Henry married a Catherine Fowler afterwards.
Martha (known also as Mattie) Married James Alfred in 1895. records are complete after that.
