My father was born 1912 New Zealand. Have not been able to find him on BDM-(Birth) Although this is not surprising as I think he was born in a home for unwed mothers,
and then adopted by his Uncle and Aunty.
He was registered as John Schumacher on the 21 Nov 1912 as the son of Matilda's brother, Charles Joseph 'Joe' Schumacher (1892-1918) & his wife Annie Mary Harris who did not marry until 28 Dec 1915 and at a quick look on BDM John's birth shows as 1917 but look deeper and the true date is revealed.
Charles died 16 Nov 1918 in the Westland Hospital, Kumara from the Flu Pandemic
It's Correct! But how did you bring up the birth date 1912.21.11?
