Scott IN Northumberland OR Durham England

I have traced my direct line back to John SCOTT 1807 married to Mary SCOTT 1801 (nee LAMB) in 1827. He was my 2x great grandfather and from census returns born in either Benton or Willington in Northumberland, England. I have found a John SCOTT abt 1765 married in Easington district of Durham in 1797 to Mary Scott abt 1765 (nee FAITH) who baptised a John SCOTT in 1807 and this baptism (as was their other children) was also in Easington district of Durham where they had married.
Does anyone know (yes or no) if John SCOTT and Mary FAITH could be my 3x great grandparents?
