She was born 1900 in UK married 1919 JOHN JAMES RYAN aka JOHN JAMES JOSEPH LUPTON-RYAN in UK. Divorced in Brisbane 1942, Evidently then married a FRANCIS JOSEPH MCDERMOTT. DOROTHY died in Brisbane.1977. Trying to find if my Aunt Dorothy had any children and her second husband's christian name, is he still alive, does she have any descendants. Thank you

The 1949 Queensland Electoral Roll has a Dorothy Jane McDermott living with Francis Joseph McDermott at Dalgonally Station, Julia Creek, Qld.

I have embarkation roll thanks Morgan, Mrs M.A.Ryan was my Grandmother, I am finally piecing together what happened to him after he came back from the war, unfortunately, his Mother and Siblings never knew where he went, or if he was still alive after he left home in Toowoomba with his new wife, don't know the reason but he just disappeared from his family and never returned as far as I know. any more help from you is greatly appreciated.My Father was James Edward Ryan. Morgan, you will find John was promoted to Acting Corporal,Corporal,Sergeant,demoted back to Corporal and back to Private .As far as I can make out for insolence. He did receive 3 medals though.He must have been injured in France, because he was on injury leave in England where he met Dorothy. They both were close to each other at Upper Tooting,London, and they were married at Wandsworth. Dorothy's Father was CHARLES GARIBALDI BARRETT, I did have her Mothers name somewhere but at this moment I can't seem to find it.
