Vickie, Any idea what this surname means? And have you come across any great websites pertaining to this surname?

Let me know as I will create a surname wiki page.

Alison.

Hi Alison

I suspect it is a corruption of Penhaligon.(Drop the H , try with different accents)

Which apparently means "Willow at the end of the lane"
Genealogy.com's Genforum serves all variations.
There appears to be no websites for Penhaligon or variants.

Dear Vickie, Gotcha. I've created a surname wiki page now. It should be on the front home page, or just click on PENNALIGGON and all the variants will come up that I could find....including your variants.

Cheers, Alison.
