Seeking Martha Ann Barnes NC Descendants

My great grandmother was born Martha Ann Barnes in North Carolina,probably Wilmington, in the 1820-1830s. in the 1840s she married John William STOKES there and gave birth to my grandfather, also John William STOKES, in 1850 or 1854. She may also have had another daughter, called, we think, Sarah. Her husband died in 1862 fighting for the Confederates. She re-married a printer named Stevens or Stephens who was possibly from Texas. We would love to connect with any descendants. Thank you
