Seeking Parents Siblings of John Allen Reid

John Allen Reid b. 22 Sep 1822 NC. Another researcher said "near Reidsville" (Rockingham County) but I doubt it.
Have found no records until 31 Jul 1851 when he m. Nancy Ann Hightower in MS.
d. 12 Nov 1900 Ellzey, Calhoun, MS.
