My son & his fiancee are going north for a break this year . I have told him to drop in and say hello to few names , maraes- townships. He jumped back at me and said > I can't do that be the height of ill manners . I says back to him- son the northland people aren't like that ! take some Kai- and a drink or two and they will tell you of your ancestry . He's as white as white but its time he learn't to mix with his " maori cussies " So if he drops in show him the ropes will you please as he is very green !
