Hi Jenny, I was born a Slade, really know very little about my family as grandparents died before I was born. I have only been researching my family for 2 weeks and have found it very interesting to say the least. I have found that my ancestors mainly came from Petworth, Sussex, England. I am also researching my Mum's side, the Ledgers and that is very interesting what that has revealed. The person who I wish to find out more about is John Slade born about 1773, married Ann Austin on the 11th February, 1791 at Petworth, Sussex. I have all details of their children, but am anxious to know the parents of John now.

He was born Stratton Vt-or Windhall Vt.They had many children-my mom Pearl Bernice S.This is so awesome if Im able to connect my ancestors.I have NO clue of where to go for Slade.WHERE they came from -just VT.Where should I go.Gramp dad was Ora Leo-I have some notes but not many.I need help???
