Dave Calladine on 2006-01-12 14:30:09The Oxford suburb of New Hinksey was built on the flood plians between the city in Oxfordshire and South Hinksey, with the opening of a new bridge. As the family moved there, they transfered from the old church burial ground at St Lawrence (N Hinksey) to the new one, in the old Church of St Laurence (S Hinksey).
baptisms and marriages may have moved to another church in New Hinksey, so a further search is needed.
