Sparks from North Carolina

My grandfather James Lafayette Sparks moved to Americus Ga from somewhere in North Carolina in the 1890s. Before he moved here he met and married my grandmother, Mattie Banner from Mt Airy North Carolina. I believe that he originally came from near Winston Salem. The story is that he worked for RJ Reynolds.
