Still Looking for Margaret Adlam

Good evening evening to all. I have not been on this site for a number of years, back then I was ronmac46.
I am still looking for Margaret ADLAM, born about 1800, have no idea where. Her father was Alexander ADLAM and he was a merchant on St Christopher (St Kitts) as well as in London. Margaret married about 1819, to Sydney/Sidney James STEPHEN, son of John STEPHEN and Mary Ann Pasmore. John and Mary Ann STEPHEN, left St Kitts and came to Australia in about 1824, John taking up the post of the first Puisne Jusge. Sidney and Margaret followed in 1828 arriving aboard the Albion, in January. After some years spent in VDL, Pt Phillip and Sydney, Sidney went to NZ as a judge and Lt governor, he dying there 13 Jan 1858. Margaret eventually went back to Melbourne, as some of her children were living there. Margaret spent the rest of her life there, dying in May, 1875 in Melbourne.
If anyone can help me on finding further information on Margaret and her parents, where she was born/married etc, I would be very thankful.
Kindest regards,
Rhonda

thanks for pointing him out to me
had not heard of him before even though I do a great deal of research on early NZ

nothing on Margaret though

Thank you ngairedith for this information. Sidney is buried in Sydmonds Street cemetery, Auckland. There is plenty of information out there on the STEPHEN family but Margaret is quite elusive. I have been searching for years. They are my husband Andrew's 3x great grandparents.
Kind regards, Rhonda
