Stover Family Palestine Ohio IN the Civil War

Seeking information about the Stover family--in Palestine, Darke Co, Ohio in the civil war--father, John Wesley died at Vicksburg--son Robert Philip, fought--then moved to Oregon/Washington Territory in the 1898 or so with several sons & daughter; grandson--my grandfather Philip Alfred one of several siblings. Searching for a connection to the generation back from John Wesley as well as any history out there of siblings or family from Palestine, Iowa (believe one brother migrated to Iowa), or information--stuck with brick wall.
