Query by tammydeland

I recently decided to try researching my family tree but I have no information on my birth-father's side of things. Somewhere I read that the name Moon could have come from the UK or parts near there. Unfortunately, my father was adopted by his natural aunt (birth-mother's sister)Her maiden name was Moon. Can anyone help me? none of my resources have worked out. That spelling of That name just doesn't get results. My deceased grandmother just never talked about her youth or her family. I have lots of info about her but not my father.

My grandmother had two sisters. Think they were born n raised in new York state. My gram was born with one leg inches shorter than the other and only 4ft 8inc.tall. had lavender eyes. Never carried a pregnancy to term. She married a Scott William Lee. Guessing birth year @ 1917 or thereabouts. All her personal affects were lost after her death. One sister was called Gladys. Another either Florence or Evalyn. Thank you.
