- served as Lieutenant 8/1626 with the Otago Infantry Battalion 3rd Reinforcements
- he enlisted from Newington Avenue, Dunedin, the home of his parents
- he embarked from Wellington 14 feb 1915
- Shortly after landing he was invalided back to Egypt, but returned after three weeks in hospital
- he was KILLED IN ACTION in Gallipoli on 9 August 1915 aged 21
- his memorial is at Chunuk Bair

Dec 11 1896 - 1983 Gulielma Constance Sargood
- Gulielma died in Dunedin 15 July 1983 aged 86

Dec 13 1898 - Huia Sargood
- Huia died in 1993 aged 94 in Barnet, Mddlesex

Percy Rolfe Sargood died in Prospect House, Marinoto, Dunedin on 5 November 1940 aged 75
- he was cremated and his ashes returned
Lucy died in 1953 in Napier, Hawkes Bay aged 84
