The Elusive Bray Baines

I've been looking for Bray Baines for a couple of years now and as of today, I still haven't been able to find a lot of info on him. He was born abt 1794 in Nansemond Va, according to census materials. Unfortunately most of the county records were burned, and earlier census records are sketchy at best.
