The Trotman Family

I am trying to research my Great grand mother\'s family
Her name was Alice Louis Trotman, Born in Barbados
Her mother took her to live in Jamaica when she was at the age of nine years old.
She was born December 25th
I believe she had a brother.
Just need to my roots so I can teach my children where they are from .
Any help would be appreciated.
