This is My First Attempt to Puzzle My Family History Together Not Sure How
This is my first attempt to puzzle my family history together. not sure how this works but I thought this is a website were you put your family info in (all info you have from family members and ancestors) and slowely the puzzle comes together.
So here we go:
My name is Mathias Graf, born in 1964, in Gotha, Germany.
My father is Gerd Graf, born in 1941, in Gotha, Germany.
His father is Georg Graf, born in 1913, in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
Georg Graf married Anna Lilli Wendelmuth, born in 1915, in Burgtonna, Germany.
Anna's mother was Anna Rosa Wendelmuth, born Meister in 1886 in Burgtonna, Germany.
Anna Meister had three brothers and four sisters. One brother by the name of Otto Meister immigrated to the USA before or after the first World War. They went to North or South Dakota.
I just wonder how Otto Meister's (my great grand uncle if this title excists) family evolved after he immigrated to the US.
Any tips, please let me know.

when you look at the name you have brought up you will see - generally 8 0r 9 numbers and letters The first 6 or 7 are the family code which can alter slightly by generation - the last coding ( usually 3 ) is that persons personal number . this gives us the method to sort out families ( different code first 6- 7 numbers & letters ) It also assist us to see which individual belongs to which family . To find what you are after could be a lot of research .but rewarding in the finish
