Thomas Dwyer New Jersey

I am looking for information on a Thomas Dwyer who would have been born around 1922 in New Jersey. I don't have much to go on except that he was in the US army during WWII and was posted for a time in Oxford, England in 1944. It was thought that there was a Portugese connection, possibly his Mother or Grandmother. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to find him on the US Censuses for 1930 and 1940, but with no luck. Do you know when and where he died?

Hi Andrew37, Thank you for this. I don't know for sure that he has died, I suppose it's still about possible that he could be living! 1922 is only an estimate for his year of birth, it could have been a couple of years either side. I know it's not much to go on but I was just hoping it might ring some bells with someone out there.
