My brick wall is William Thompson wise could be Sarah Jane, Sophia Jane unknown lastname they had a son Henry Thompson born abt 1844 Lee Co, Va who married Elizabeth Grabeel searching for any help.

who married Sophia Senter is not mine that i can confirm, So Sarah Jane is listed in census as Jane, Sophia, Sophiah, so not really sure of what her name was. Possible father for William is Francis Thompson and they were in Lee Co, VA,

KatelynThompson9211 on 2020-11-24 17:48:17My family is the Thompson’s from Lee Co. my grandfather was Monroe, he had a brother named Johnny and my great grandfathers name was Thomas. I will have to check and see if we are any relation. The farthest that I was able to dig back on my line was John Thompson from Scotland.
KatelynThompson9211 on 2020-11-24 17:52:13I know my Dad used to tell us a tale of his grandmother who didn’t know how old she was. It may sound silly but they rarely celebrated birthdays, and due to the civil war and burnings of southern courthouses her birth certificate was destroyed. So, it was rly hard finding what information I do have. I would love to find out whether or not we are of any relation. 🙂
