Thompson of Virginia

I am searching for the parents of Edmund Thompson who was born approximately 1794 in Virginia. He married Sarah Rawlings and they had six children together between 1818 and 1828. He then married Dolly Hornback and they had four children together between 1833 and 1838. He died on February 21, 1874, in Lynchburg, Virginia, having lived a long life of 80 years.
