That is Tom's Father & Mother & His Brother's & Sister's.

Tom was born 15 July, 1859, Stockcross, Speen, county Berkshire, England. He married Sophia Joy Hawkins 15 July 1888, in Thatcham, Reading.
Tom and Sophia emigrated to New Zealand along with along with children, Harry, Nellie and her husband Charlie White, Edith, Sydney and Beatrice. They embarked on 7 November 1924 from Southhampton on the SS Pakeha. They arrived at Auckland, New Zealand on 16 December 1924, a voyage of 39 days.
Tom, Sophia and family lived at 61 Richmond Street, Petone. He worked as a labourer.
Tom died 6 May 1929, age 69, at his home after only 4.5 years in New Zealand. He is buried in Plot 210 at the Old Taita Cemetery on the outside of the hill facing west.
Sophia died 22 October, 1938, also at home in Petone and is buried alongside Tom in Plot 211.

Harry, I am not a million miles away from Glasgow. In fact I lived in a place called Kilmacolm some years ago for 3 yrs. I now live in Buckinghamshire. Your details about the Haines family are most interesting. I have a Haines paper calendar which has photos also dated 2001 I think. I am the daughter of Dorothy Hilda Haines who became Dorothy Kolecki after marriage. She emigrated to New Zealand but her father, mother, sister Connie and brother Albert did not, and remained in Reading Berkshire. My mother resided in Petone Wellington. She married a Polish man, Mr Kolecki. I have not enrolled on Ancestry as yet but will do so eventually. As I was born out of wedlock I do not appear on any family trees. I am registered, however, as Wendy Haines. Are you related to this Haines family and in what way? I am aware that there is a Family Tree calendar for the Haines family based in New Zealand, but I am not on it. I would like my name to be added to it, but at present have come across a brick wall.
