Trying to Find Emigration Info on My Grandfather Arnt

My aunt thinks he may have sailed from Stavanger, Norway but I can find no records to support this. It seems more likely they would have sailed from Trondheim but again can't find proof. Other spelling for the family name is Kvaale.
