Have you looked on Ancestry, as I found two trees with your ancestors on them and were living in Canada

Yes and we have found so many. The hard part is tracing him back to Scotland and finding the ship he came over on. The records are so frustrating cause there have been mistakes made along the way. Sometimes I wish I could just go to Canada and then fly across to Scotland myself to find the records. I might have to do that one day....
