Tunstall Family of Rainford Lancashire

I've been pleased to be able to trace my maternal grandfather's family back through a couple of generations.

He was William Tunstall born Crosspit Lane, Rainford, Lancs.16th August 1868. His parents were John and Margaret (nee Owen), they were married on August 6th 1855 in Rainford, Lancs. They had two children who I can trace - William (my grandfather) and an older brother by 5 yrars, John. John Snrs parents were Peter and Sarah. I have Sarah's birth year as 1803.

I contacted the local historical society in Lancashire and they kindly sent me a copy of John and Margaret's marriage registration.
