Hi i am looking for information on our family in jedburgh.
My great grandfather John Turnbull born 3 may 1866 married Helen stenhouse weatherston (son of William Turnbull and Mary Hardy)went to South Africa but i do not know anything off the family in the borders he left behin i know the names

i went down there yesterday and could not find their graves but i know why now

It’s the way they have marked the graves and additional info on doc i did not know.
I have found a bit more information on my family and went down to jedburgh to find the graves and see if i cannot get local info.

I did not know that journeyman is a joiner oops for me

I will be ready next time i go down there
