He is supposed to have been killed by Kansas Jayhawks in Titus County Texas in 1864.

Looking for the father of Clay Ross Searsy. For some reason he and his mother are listed twice in the 1900 Fannin County Texas census. Once they are listed as 'Searcey' and the other as 'Searsy'.
