Looking for Valentine Cook. Born 1800, died 1850s. Quite an adventurous soul. Was with the Royal Marines, and served in the mediterrean. Married in 1823, he had a few children. His wife was Margaret McMullen. Would appreciate any information available. Would like to know more about Margaret. There was no hint at parentage, she would have been the same age. 1841 census limitations says no to either being born in Hampshire where they were at the time.

find something definite for you perhaps?

There is a record of a marriage in Chatham in 1822 which costs 10 credits to view on < findmypast >

Good luck..................
