waghorn families from kent, uk

I am looking for any waghorns from kent so if there
is any waghorn researchers out there please contact
me, would love to hear you. My ancestor John Waghorn
born in Sevenoaks, Kent around 1813 who married a
Elizabeth Bartholomew in 1830, they had 8 children.
They migrated to Australia on the ship called "Hope"
which left England 1852 and arrived in Australia in
1853. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to find the connection between Thomas Fletcher Waghorn the pioneer of the overland rout to India. He originated from Kent . I just wonder if there is any connection to an Oakley,Campbell or MgGrath all emigrated to Australia in the 1840/50's. It is a family story and I am trying to make the connection.Can you help?
