I am a long time Waldie researcher ...(along with many other Scots surname).
At present I am attempting to find the origins of the Waldie name and where they originally came from.
I have heard many different opinions,along with many different spellings.
I have Waldie pedigrees from many places and I have also gathered many tidbits of info.
I am always willing to share ,exchange,be corrected & correct info.
My latest line or research is having a male family member do his "Y-DNA"….excitedly awaiting results.
My hope is to connect some of these trees to a point that we Waldie researchers are united.
I am presently back c 1740…with a solid paper trail in Rox.Scotland
