I have a birth certificate for Ernest Chase born in Waterloo Sydney with his parents written as Walter Chase b America and Charlotte Haynes b England.I have a conflict with birth dates. Walter and Charlotte moved to Melbourne Victoria from Waterloo Sydney and died there. They had four sons George W 1883, Clarence 1885, Henry 1886 and Walter 1890. We are decendants of Walter. I have unconfirmed of a marriage in Aukland New Zealand or maybe New Zealand in England if such a place exists. I need in order to confirm the right branch of the Chase tree in the US. There are thousands of them. Cheers

The marriage date of Walter and Charlotte match the date written on Ernest's birth certificate (4th May 1880. There is a tree which has been published on the web by persons not known to me that is not correct, it makes it very frustrating. Cheers

Walter CHASE was born in America in about 1851
Charlotee HAYNES was born in ENgland in about 1856
they married in England on 4 May 1880 then later (sometime between 1880-1890) they emigrated to NSW, Australia and settled in Waterloo, NSW

Where in England were they married and are you sure of the spelling of their names, as I cannot find a marriage record for these people in 1880
