Christian Church of Wanette: Began its charter 13 Aug 1904 with incorporators named J. F. Smith and C. J. Miller of Wanette and John Wherry of Moral.

United Brethren in Christ Church: This church was established about 23 May 1906 with incorporators being D. F. Boyer, B. A. Tomlin, C. R. Gierhart and Judson Shook. W. C. Adams was appointed a minister on about 5 Nov 1906.
