What Got ME Here IN the First Place

Having recently come across a painting by Nanene Queen Engle I began as most do and started searching on Google to find out more about the artist. After only a few hours I have found out her date of birth and death. I have found out she was an artist from Newburgh, IN and taught art at the University of Northern Carolina. Thanks to cinderbama on this site I have learned more about her marriage to Frank Leroy Engle and her genealogy.
I know of the history of the Engle school from the Warrick Web submitted by Tamara Kincaide. I hope to continue to learn more about her and her works, so any additional information you might have would greatly help to satisfy my curiosity.
