Thank you for responding. My father is still alive and he was the last child, Maggie was the 3rd or 4th child in 1901, on the census. He never knew he had a sister by the name of Maggie or Margaret, we presume she died but can find no record. I will keep on hunting, there are a lot of gaps in our family history which is Scottish and we are in Australia, but one day I will get to Edinburgh and do a bit more in depth research. Pitstruan
