What is the Best Place to Search Records from Ireland

I have very few details of the family Murphy,listed on the link below before they came to New Zealand and have no idea where to start looking in Ireland for their records. A lot of the information sends me on a wild goose chase, I would like to find birth records that name the parents so I can keep going back but seem to be hitting a brick wall with every search.
