Where Did the Families of William Eldon Mccutcheon OR His Wife Elizabeth Galloway Live Before Coming to the United States

I suggest finding the family on census records. Look at the children
and where they were born, and where the parents were born and where
it says their parents were born. Also look at the marriage records.
If you trace the family records from child to parents, and go back,
you might find the answer.
