Welcome to FamilyTreeCircles charylhb.

Why not start looking here. Type in DAWSON in the search box at the top of the page and click search. There is a good collection of information on the DAWSON name here and you may find a few links to help you further, and possibly someone else researching the same family line.

If that fails I suggest you put up another post with a few names and dates, including the country you are searching. This will help other members help you.

Good luck with your research.

Sorry charylhb - you have included more info in your other posts I did not see. I'm blind in one eye, and can't see out the other, so all is forgiven.

Thanks Tonkin.

I did not however include the details that whilst Thomas was born in Scotland he moved to New Zealand and there he married my great grandmother Ada Jensen.

Cheers

Please first ask any and all family members if they have past bdm certs so as to reduce the costs of your genealogy research.
