Looking for information on William Sibley - where was he born? who were his parents
Sorry I have been rather neglectful re this journal. I have moved quite a few generations back. Here is a quick synopsis - William's father was also William (b 1792 Misterton) and his mother was Betty Wiltshire (b 1787 Misterton. William & Betty had 6 boys (George, William, John, Mark, Mathew & Luke)& one girl - Eliza who was the eldest.
William's (b 1792)parents were Abraham (b 1759 Misterton) & Ann Mounston/Mounsten (b 1758 Mosterton, Dorset). Abraham & Ann had at least 12 children.
Abraham's parents were James (b. about 1720 Misterton) & Sarah Standard (b, about 1724 Misterton). They had at least 7 children.
