How dose one get access to the Vic BD&M, I've tried there website, it wont give you anything?
The information you gave me, was easy to find.
Charles Cuthbert White was born in St kilda in 1856 or what ever year it was?
then the family move to NZ, then a Edmond Aunger White was born in 1875 in Wellington. and the NZ are like the Vic website, cant find this person?
Have you got any word of advice to throw to me.

Edmund Aunger White (husband of Esther Marie) may have been born in Wellington but he died in Mount St Elvin's private hospital, Eastern Hill, Melbourne on November 14th 1929

The Vic BDM site is not a free site and you will have to pay for the service. The library is the best place to go for free searches of the records. If you do not have access to the Vic records at your library tell me what you need and I will have a look for you.
Your Charles Cuthbert WHITE was born 1862 in St Kilda. His parents, Charles WHITE and Charlotte PHILLIPS were married in 1859, and they also lost their first child in St Kilda the same year.
I had a look at the NZ births for your Edmund, and like you could not find it. Edmund died in 1929 as Ngairedith stated. He was 53 years young.
I also came across a possible sister of Edmund named Lucy Mary BLUNDEN, nee WHITE, that died in Caulfield in 1948 aged 92 years. Her parents were named as Charles WHITE and Charlotte PHILLIPS, the same parents as Edmund. I tried to find her birth in the NZ records, and as I expected, had no luck.
