Hello
I'm looking references for Charles Joseph White who married Charlotte Phillips. I was tolded that they may have came from Cornwall UK and move to australia, and some their children are:

1. Charles Cuthbert White
2. Charlotte Kerrod White who married Dr Voss of Rockhampton
3. Harry Sully White
4. Ernest Edward White
5. and a few others? I've got dates but not no me now.

They have history in Duaringa, in Central Qld.

My research has found nothing to indicate William worked in Queensland. Should I come across anything I will certainly let you know. Sorry I could not be of more help to you.
