Whittle Family History Lancashire England

I am searching for information regarding the family of my father Stanley Whittle. He was born in Wigan, Lancashire in 1918 and his father was James Thomas Whittle, a local miner. My father Stanley had a brother William and a sister Eunice.

I would appreciate any information on dates and other family members so that I can begin to put together a family tree.
