Who was Mary Ann Hummel
I am looking for the husband and children of Mary Ann Hummel. She
was born 10 Aug 1797 in Baden Wuerttemburg, Germany. She migrated to America around 1858. She is found on 1860, 1870, and 1880 Federal census records living with the one of her daughters, Margaret Gardner. Margaret Gardner married Philip Becker and they lived and raised their family in Preble county, Ohio.
I found a one line death notice on Mary Ann Hummel that said she died 13 Oct 1884 in Eaton, Preble, Ohio. Have not located her burial site.
Have reason to believe she may at one time have been married to someone with the last name of Gardner.
I also have a photograph (attached) that is written on the back as Hummel Family Reunion. No date, place, or ID of any of the people.
If anyone can identify this photograph or someone in it or if anyone has information on Mary Ann Hummel that would be amazing.

I am trying to find out what happened to George & Elizabeth Hummel the parents of Jacob Hummel who was married to Elizabeth Kern. I have tons of information from Jacob & Elizabeth until current times. Have been told that we came from Germany (not sure where) to Hummelstown, We are supposed to be descended from the founder but I cannot find the link. Family lore has it that Jacob left Hummelstown in a caravan of covered wagons. It's possible his parents were with him as I have no idea how old he was then. He went to Ohio fought in the civil out of Ohio. After the war he & Elizabeth went to Three Rivers, Mi. He did at one time live in Kansas too. Family names are Hummel, Kern, Romig & numerous others.
