Who was the Jane Edwards Who Erastus Holdridge Married
Erastus R Holdridge b BET 1824-1830 in CT. Family records show he married Jane Edwards and had at least one child with her, Mary Jane Holdridge [this would of been my gt gt grandmother] I have not been able to find any records for Jane Edwards. Erastus married again to Maria Erskin[I do have record for her] I am interested in Jane Edwards. Her father's name may of been Robert Edwards. This is all the information for Jane. Oswego Co., NY seems to of been a location for this family.

Hello maxineo6 Had a brief search across the counties in the states including New York . Census is out ( even though I searched )as it was not offical till 1930 and proper documentation was Required until then This misses out because of an approximate Time gap of over 100 years . Tribute.com Index register for deaths - obtributaries in News papers etc shows nil on estimated age of death ( 40 to 90 )-
--> Familysearch.org shows ( 192+ ) for Jane Edwards and Robert Edwards ( 159+ )The problem I found was trying to match up Jane into any Edward family in all counties . I think we may have a problem here and difficult . She must have died and therefore their should be a record some where - Finding it you may have to turn over , all county records , libraries , Newspapers etc - To get alead to folow is what you need _ I am sorry that I could not find one to assist you - Regards - edmondsallan
