Johanna wild came to west Australia in 1850
she left the ship in fremantle, but her two brothers went on to
esat, I think Victoria. I would like to find them.

It's Julia Wild. She was born in Ireland about 1829 and married William Moriarty in Perth in 1851 she died in Western Australia in 1897. William Moriarty died in 1893.

On some registrations there is an 'E' on the end of Wild. All born in WA.
Sarah Moriarty married John Thomas Rutherford in Ludlow WA 1889 and died at Capel, WA in 1903

You have found the information on my greatgrandfather and mother and their family my grand father was Thomas.
I would like to find information about Julia/Johann Wild her brothers and where in Ireland she came from.
also where my great grandfather William came from in Ireland

Hi Janilye,
Yes there were 10 children as named above. His second son Michael was my great grandfather. Wiliam Moriarty was born in County Kerry, Ireland in 1814. His father died and he was raised by his uncle Michael a glove maker in England. In 1840 he sailed on the Island Queen to Port Leschenault (Australind) and arrived 10/12/1840. He was listed as a bricklayer but was part of a survey team. He married Anne Weir 29/01/1843 but she died within a few years. He married Julia 3/11/1851 shortly after her arrival in Fremantle. Both are buried in the old Bridgetown Cemetary. Regards, Eric Hancock
